An animal study of the inhibitory effect of seven herb medicine injections on epidemic hemorrhagic virus (EHFV)is reported.The morbidity and the infection rate of the experimental suckling mice in the injection polyporus glucan group were much lower than that in the control group.The resuits indicated that the injected polyporus glucan can markedly prevent the EHFV infec tion in sucking mice.Moreover,other herb medicine inj ections can also inhibit EHFV infection to some extent.
